• Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic, assisting the provider to ensure patients receive care and the clinic runs smoothly.
• First point of patient care: room and prepare patients using clinic‑specific checklists; measure vitals such as weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.
• Complete required patient care documentation, including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations as required for optimal patient care, which may include supporting teammates and providers.

• CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
  • BLS certification preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting, or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson Healthcare.
  • BLS certification preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab‑confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella. All employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year hired and annually thereafter, or submit an approved medical or religious exemption.
