Financial Analyst - Traverse Area

Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and financial forecasts for manufacturing.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for factory operations.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying key drivers.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new equipment and facility improvements.
• Support inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities within the production process.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with cost accounting principles in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and data extraction.
• Ability to perform capital expenditure (Cap Ex) analysis for manufacturing assets.

• Experience with common manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain finance and inventory management's financial impact.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
