Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with USITC, OFAC, DDTC, AECA, ITAR regulations for export of company products.
- Maintain and execute company procedures, documentation, and required activities.
- Own internal training for compliance and manage duty drawback activity.
- Define part classification (ITAR/ECCN/EAR
99). - Ensure ITAR compliance, maintain and complete export shipping documents (Schedule B / Country of Origin Classifications).
- Support corporate security compliance initiatives.
- Conduct RPS screening / review approvals for new customers, suppliers, etc.
- Approve ITAR supplier reviews.
- Conduct and track new employee training and annual ITAR training.
- Perform duty drawback procedures.
- Conduct annual internal audits.
- Maintain export procedures, forms, work instructions, and export manual.
- Generate Letter of Assurance approvals.
- Conduct contract review / FTT export reviews.
- Perform SR Customer Service Representative duties as required.
- Provide price and delivery quotations to customers.
- Process customer purchase orders (contract review and order entry).
- Review availability and guidelines and schedule orders.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Process customer change orders.
- Provide communication link between customers and company.
- Process customer returns and complaints.
- Manage project orders when required.
- Manage projects to improve customer service, increase company revenue, and reduce company costs.
- Associate’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7 to 10 years of experience and strong understanding of export compliance regulations; high mix product environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR
99, and related processes. - Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Communicates effectively (written/verbal) with high level of professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
This position may require access to United States export-controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, asylees, or others eligible to receive U.S. export license authorizations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
