Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and calibrate industrial robotic systems and related automation equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robots and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Execute repairs and replace faulty components, including servo motors, controllers, and end‑effectors.
- Program and fine‑tune robot paths, teach points, and adjust parameters for optimal performance and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed on robotic systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures while working with high‑voltage machinery and moving robots.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience programming, operating, and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics for diagnosis and repair.
- Demonstrated understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and integrating industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and troubleshooting network connectivity.
- Basic CAD/CAM software proficiency for interpreting designs or minor modifications.
