Bookkeeper - Traverse Area

Salary Range: $49,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements to maintain financial accuracy.
• Maintain the general ledger by accurately recording all financial transactions.
• Prepare essential financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate wages and deductions.
• Assist in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold tracking specific to manufacturing operations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures and audits.

• Proven experience with cost accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) or specialized manufacturing accounting software.
• Strong ability to reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts with exceptional accuracy.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting principles and preparation of basic financial statements.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Familiarity with inventory valuation methods and tracking
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., COGS, overhead)
• Experience with fixed asset management and depreciation schedules
