Fabricator, 13 Week Contract, Night shift, Tranent

Responsibilities:

• Fabricating structural components used in pylon towers

• Carrying out clip shaping and manipulation of materials

• Working with angle irons and various RSS sizes

• Completing back cuts and extensive grinding as required

• Performing steel and aluminium cutting, welding, burning, and grinding

• Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively

• Completing fabrication tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Chargehand

• Ensuring work is carried out to high quality and safety standards

Requirements:

• Fabrication background with relevant workshop experience

• Experience working with hand tools, including angle grinders

• Ability to carry out grinding, cutting, and shaping of materials

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to required standards

• Candidates based in or able to commute to the East Coast area
