Workshop Supervisor

We’re looking for an experienced Night shift Workshop Supervisor to lead our shop floor and keep production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of night shift operations, coordinate people and resources, and ensure high standards across a busy steel fabrication environment.

• Lead and supervise night shift workshop operations
• Plan and allocate work in line with production schedules and priorities
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
• Monitor progress and adjust labour and resources as needed
• Act as the main point of contact for night shift teams
• Ensure accurate use of MRP and production tracking systems
• Coordinate closely with day shift and other departments
• Maintain clear handovers and communication between shifts
• Escalate issues and support continuous improvement

• Experience supervising workshop or manufacturing teams
• Background in steel fabrication or heavy engineering is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of health and safety and workshop operations
• Confident organising people, priorities, and production flow
• Comfortable using MRP or production systems
• Hands‑on, practical leader with a calm, solutions‑focused approach
