This role is based in Trail, BC — a welcoming community in the West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Outdoor adventure is right outside your door: whether it’s biking and skiing or the more laid‑back pace of fishing and hiking, there’s something for everyone.

Please note: This position requires you to live within 100 km of Trail. Relocation support is available for those moving to the area, but there is no camp or company housing.

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair plant instrumentation and control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment and control issues in a busy industrial environment
• Work hands‑on with sensors, transmitters, valves, and final control elements
• Team up with other trades in a supportive, safety‑first work culture
• Promote and follow Teck’s safety standards every day

• Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Instrumentation Mechanic
• Industrial experience — especially in smelters or process plants — is an asset
• Familiar with Modicon PLCs and Wonderware HMIs
• Experience with Foxboro and ABB systems is a bonus
• WHMIS certification
• Valid driver’s license
• A solid work ethic, clear communication, and a team‑first mindset
