What will your job look like?

MTM Transit in partnership with the City of Tracy is looking for Full Time CDL Drivers to join our team in Tracy, California. We currently have training classes that start every couple of weeks - no need to wait to start your new career!

What You'll need:

Experience, Education &

Certifications:

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* Must possess a valid California Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements

* No more than 6 points on driving record within the last 4 years

* No misdemeanor convictions

* No DWI/DUI convictions

* No failure to appear charges

* Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening

* Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check

* Valid authorization to work in the United States

* Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

Skills:

* Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic device

* Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

* Ability to communicate with others and comprehend instructions

* Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedules

* Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulations

* Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area

What You'll Do:

* Provide safe and reliable transportation

* Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills

* Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

* Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle

* Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols

* Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customer

* Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities

* Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required

* Complete paperwork as required

* Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required
