Main responsibilities:

The Buyerisresponsibleforthepurchasingandtimelydeliveryofproductsforspecializedcategorieswithinour Centerof Store Department .The Buyerprovidessupplychain/inventorymanagementforapromotionallyactivecenterofstoredeskandcorrespondingfinancialaccountabilities.

Buyerprocuresproductinaccordancewithallpoliciesandproceduresestablishedbythecompany.

    Responsibleformanaging Distribution Centerinventoryacrossanumberofspecificspecializedcategories .
    • Optimizestoreservicelevelsat
      97% orabove.
    • Maintainongoingcommunicationlinkwithdivisionretailteamsandvendorstoensureproperunderstandingofpromotionalactivityandadequateleveloflogisticalsupport.
    • Manageinventorylevelsandproductrotation.
    • Negotiatelogisticalelementsthatimprovecostandefficiency(workwithvendorsandtransportation).
  • Evaluatessuppliersofferingsagainstkeybusinesscriteriaandproductspecifications.
  • Responsibleforworkingwith Logistics Coordinatortohelpmanagethetimelyandefficientflowofgoodsthroughoutthesupplychain .
  • Usevarioustoolsandsourcestoforecastandcommunicateweeklyproductneedsforthe Division.
  • Developandmaintaingoodworkingrelationshipswithbrokers,vendors,storeoperations,distributioncenteranddivisionofficepersonnel.
  • E-Pass(billingandinvoicediscrepancies)
  • Periodicproductqualitychecks/walksinthedistributioncenter
  • Performsotherdutiesasassigned.
  • Mostworkisperformedundergeneralofficeconditionsinatemperature-controlledenvironment.

    Incumbentmaysitforlongperiodsoftimeatadesk
  • Incumbentwillusecalculators,keyboards,telephones,andotherofficeequipmentduringtheworkday.
  • Hasdailycontactwithco-workers,suppliers/vendorsandcustomers

Wearelookingforcandidateswhopossessthefollowing:

  • Bachelors Degree,Management Certificateorequivalentexperiencerequired.

  • Retailoperationsmanagementexperience

  • 2plusyearsof

    Buying Experience

  • Marketingexperiencepreferred

  • Strongorganizationalandanalyticalskills

  • Excellentcommunicationskills,bothoralandwritten

  • Strongknowledgeof Microsoft Excel ,Word,Power Pointandother Office programs

  • Trackrecordofgoodjudgmentandabletoachieveresultswithminimumsupervision
