Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T0738) s role is On-Demand and offers a flexible schedule. Starting hourly rate: $18.25 USD per hour.

The On-Demand model allows you to work as much or as little as you like, with shifts posted by leaders or other team members and managed via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Attendance and responsiveness to shift opportunities are essential, and you must engage at least four hours every four weeks.

You may be administratively terminated if you do not respond to contact attempts or fail to work a shift within 5 months. Attendance and communication are critical to success.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the store and area to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards; minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches and store activities; explain Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed; assist guests with wallet and Target App features.
• Handle returns and follow register prompts, partnering with leaders as needed and following Target policies.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests; keep work area clean and stock supplies as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pickup and drive-up; maintain safety and compliance in all tasks; assist with cash office processes as needed.
