Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery float position in California, requiring a CA RN license and NRP certification.
Responsibilities

• Float pool position covering multiple hospital-based Labor and Delivery units

• Will float between various hospitals within the health system

• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30

• Initial week dedicated to orientation and Epic EMR training

• On-the-floor orientation provided with ongoing shift-based assessment

• Role involves comprehensive orientation and training, including Epic EMR

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing assignment acceptance

• Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved

• Supervision and support from dedicated fulfillment center and program managers
Requirements

• Active CA RN license required

• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP required

• At least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required

• Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule from the facility
