Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, engineered wall systems, retaining walls, ornamental and garden products, and a full range of sack goods. Under the supervision of the Sack Pant Superintendent, this position supports the Sack Plant in all areas of production; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success

• Checks sack for defects, bag weight accuracy and/or contamination.
• Verifies specialty plant products.
• Checks quality of finished goods.
• Keeps assigned work areas clean and organized.
• Operates a forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies, ensures that hazardous conditions are reported.
• Predictable, and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

• Requires basic reading and writing skills.
• On-the-job training is required to be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

• Obtain Basalite forklift certification.
• Ability to operate a forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
