Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry Location

Maryland

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with 36 hours guaranteed per week.

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The role is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. Utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills, the nurse will assess data and provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, specifically in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
• Work effectively with stroke patients, utilizing appropriate care protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document care accurately and follow organizational policies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

• 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
• 2 years of experience working with stroke patients.
• Willingness to take telemetry patients as needed.
• Must obtain MRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• Active RN license in Maryland with verification less than 30 days old.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• COVID vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted.
