Nights: 3x12-hour shifts (19::30); every other weekend required; holidays may be required as scheduled.

Job Description

The MS/Tele RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, primarily focusing on the management and interpretation of cardiac telemetry. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, managing cardiac drips, and providing care for various medical conditions, including dysrhythmias and post-cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess telemetry patients, interpreting dysrhythmias.

• Manage medication drips, including Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin.

• Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral line care.

• Provide post-operative care for patients who have undergone cardiac procedures.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele nursing experience required.

• Active MD RN license.

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI.

• Familiarity with Epic or similar charting systems is preferred.
