Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is looking for a highly skilled Plasma Center Nurse to support plasma center operations. As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will be responsible for donor eligibility determination, patient safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including informed consent management, AIDS education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, coordinating with the Center Physician for standing orders and transport to emergency care.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility concerns.
• Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and decide if further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER, referring to EHS guidance as appropriate.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist with investigations of pandemic threats in the local community.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a recognized nursing program with state certification.
• Current license or certification in the state of assignment:
  Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfilled state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Successfully completed FDA-approved training for a Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
