Senior Program Manager – Group Data & Process

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. (Hybrid – Towson, United States) is recruiting a Senior Program Manager – Group Data & Process.

Lead new product development data governance and process control for all programs within the portfolio, collaborating with cross‑functional global teams and driving data‑centric initiatives.

• Leverage cross‑functional knowledge of New Product Development methodologies to manage data collection, coordinate project reports & agendas, and recommend appropriate decisions.
• Integrate the latest best practices into the Pro Electrified Design Center Program Management Office, both from internal system upgrades and external technology frontiers.
• Partner with Brand and Product Execution to drive prioritized NPD funnels and optimized resource models.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop timing and action plans for data management and structures.
• Develop SharePoint repositories and communications best practices.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Facilitate training of the program management team on required cadences for data maintenance related to individual projects.
• Drive updates to product development metrics through alignment with key stakeholders and the analytics team managing dashboard development.
• Guide development of technical project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans.
• Support cross‑functional teams to work seamlessly across boundaries of company, culture, and geography for successful project execution.
• Lead collaboration efforts across the organization to leverage best practices, expertise, and shared resources.
• Assure alignment between R&D and finance on capital spend within guidelines of established project budget.
• Prepare project status and communicate risks to leadership with proper detail and recovery plans.
• Challenge and provide constructive mitigation strategies.
• Run efficient meetings by establishing cadence and techniques.

• 7+ years of experience in New Product Development (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a Data‑Centric Environment leadership role (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related field.
• Experience in consumer & professional goods new product development.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Strong focus and proven ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.
• Demonstrated familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g., Critical Path).
• Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Experience developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Logical and creative problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Uses financial information and analysis to support fact‑based business decisions.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint).

Base pay range for this position in Maryland is $77,600.00 - $ USD annually. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign‑on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package.
