Position Summary
The Mobile Deployment Engineer will manage mobile devices in Microsoft Intune, providing technical support to customers and developing solutions that integrate systems using internal and third‑party hardware/software. The incumbent will plan, install, configure, and maintain Mobile Device Management systems, create SOPs, custom reporting scripts, and mobility best practice guides.
Essential Duties- Participate with the customer in the strategic design process to identify additional product/service opportunities.
- Ensure the technical correctness and completeness of integrated system designs and recommend solutions based on customer business goals and existing infrastructure.
- Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
- Resolve difficult customer problems by applying advanced training and experience.
- Identify structures and deliver services that enable business processes.
- Work with Management to ensure all team members receive adequate training.
- Manage customers' iOS and Android devices.
- Plan, install, configure, and maintain Mobile Device Management systems for customers.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures for customer mobile device solutions.
- Write custom reporting scripts to gather data and generate weekly performance reports.
- Identify and report mobile operating system best practices.
- Act as a project leader for complex installations and support associates on complicated projects.
- Write test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts to assess application performance.
- Determine and specify the mobile device infrastructure and services needed to support enterprise mobile solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in reviews, offering expertise and answering inquiries.
- Assist other Mobile Deployment technicians and engineers with backup support as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2–3 years of related work experience.
Knowledge of Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac Book) and Android devices; first‑hand knowledge of Microsoft Intune. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work abilities.
Licenses or CertificatesValid driver’s license equivalent to a noncommercial Class
C. Applicants from outside the U.S. must provide WES degree equivalency documentation.
Applicants will be evaluated based on training and experience, with a focus on dates and duties of past and present experience. Proof of licenses, certifications, and education must be submitted with each application.
Physical and Environmental ConditionsOccasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; extended periods of sitting, walking, or standing; travel within the county; possible on‑call rotation for after‑hours support.
