Towson University seeks a contractor to support the migration of our current giving platform Webconnex to Give Campus. This temporary role will be critical in ensuring a smooth transition for our Annual Giving team, Advancement Services, and broader University Advancement partners. The contractor will work closely with staff to support system configuration, testing, compliance, and implementation while maintaining continuity of day‑to‑day operations during the migration.
This position will be open for a minimum of 14 days.
Responsibilities and Duties- Support the migration and configuration of online giving and event platforms, including both Webconnex (Giving Fuel/Reg Fox) and Give Campus, based on project needs and timelines.
- Assist with the build, review, testing, and maintenance of giving forms, event pages, and related web assets.
- Collaborate with Annual Giving, Advancement Services, and other University Advancement partners to ensure functionality, accuracy, and consistency across platforms.
- Support data management tasks, including uploads, exports, reconciliation support, and validation of donor and transaction data.
- Assist with platform‑related documentation, testing protocols, and internal training or reference materials.
- Help identify issues, troubleshoot platform functionality, and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders or vendor partners.
- Provide regular status updates and project support to the Director of Annual Giving or designee.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support online giving operations and platform transition efforts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and navigate web‑based platforms and tools.
- Experience with online giving platforms, event registration tools, databases, or comparable systems preferred.
- Comfort working with data, including uploads, exports, and basic validation or reconciliation tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage evolving priorities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and document processes for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a hybrid or virtual environment.
- Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year‑for‑year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
Hourly rate of $27.22. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage.
