Microsoft Dynamics SME

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of CRM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems. This role involves defining system architecture, developing and customizing CRM solutions, managing administration and support, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities include data migration, prototyping, integration with third‑party applications, quality assurance, and end‑user training.

The SME will collaborate with business analysts and project managers to deliver scalable, efficient CRM solutions that meet organizational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serves as a subject‑matter expert (SME) responsible for the overall design, architecture, and implementation of the Customer Relationship Management Tools (CRMs) in Microsoft Dynamics, as well as their integration with other systems.
  • Defines the logical, technical, and physical architecture for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.
  • Develops a ready Customer Relationship Management solution in Microsoft Dynamics, prioritizing the Department of Economic and Workforce Development.
  • Directs the day‑to‑day administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution, including customizations and configurations.
  • Develops and implements, and trains others to develop in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Helps gather and document requirements from non‑technical business users.
  • Uses technical expertise to translate business requirements into effective system requirements and functional design documents.
  • Collaborates with business analysts, project managers, and other technical staff to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Assists with any data migration tasks to and from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.
  • Prototypes and demos recommended solutions for users.
  • Integrates Microsoft Dynamics CRM with third‑party applications, databases and external systems, where necessary.
  • Provides ongoing technical support and training for end‑users.
  • Performs regular quality assurance and testing to ensure the solution meets the needs of the end‑user.
  • Assists with the project planning, scheduling and deployment of the new CRM features.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience building a CRM solution in Microsoft Dynamics from design through development (Full Life Cycle).
  • Strong understanding of CRM data modeling, workflows and user interface customization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
