**** The Job:
** As a Principal Product Designer, you’ll be part of our Information Technology Enterprise Architecture & Strategy team working as an hybrid employee.
You’ll get to:
* Deliver exceptional design work on complex initiatives that balance vision, detail, and execution.
* Explore new approaches to design through prototyping and experimentation with emerging tools while maintaining the highest craft standards.
* Provide critique and mentorship that sharpens thinking and elevates the work of other designers.
* Build design systems and frameworks that create consistency and scalability across brands.
* Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate insights and strategy into intuitive, impactful experiences.
* Prototype using traditional tools and AI-enabled platforms like Figma Make, Claude, Vercel, or Cursor, curating and refining outputs to meet brand and usability standards.
* Shape new design workflows that integrate AI responsibly, using it to accelerate exploration without compromising craft or consistency.
* Champion accessibility, usability, and inclusive design as essential parts of every process.
* Communicate ideas through storytelling, design rationale, and interactive prototypes that inspire alignment and action.
** The Person:
**** What We're Looking For
*** 5-7+ years of experience in product or UX design with a portfolio that demonstrates craft mastery and systems thinking. Exceptional talent with less experience is welcome.
* Expertise in design tools such as Figma and comfort prototyping at different fidelities.
* Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design tools and a clear perspective on applying them responsibly.
* A track record of iterative, detail-oriented work that leads to polished, scalable outcomes.
* Experience mentoring designers and raising the quality bar across teams.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across disciplines.
* Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA+) and inclusive design practices.
