Overview
The Outpatient Practice Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and administrative management of private pay outpatient behavioral health services within the health system. This role ensures high-quality care by overseeing daily operations, optimizing workflows, managing staff, and aligning practice performance with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The manager serves as a key liaison between clinical teams, administrative leadership, and external partners to build and support the growth of outpatient private pay practices.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of private pay outpatient behavioral health services.
- Optimize workflows, manage staff, and ensure alignment of practice performance with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, administrative leadership, and external partners to support growth of outpatient private pay practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health or related field is required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 3-5 years of management experience in an outpatient healthcare setting is required; behavioral health experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Knowledge of behavioral health regulations, billing, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and data analytics tools.

The pay range for this position is $74,127.04 minimum to $ maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
