- Onsite position in Anne Arundel County, MD
- Schedule: ~20 hours per week to start. Work between 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Compensation: $120,000–$140,000
- Review applicant financial documentation and manage the financial approval workflow
- Lead monthly close activities and prepare accurate financial reports for leadership
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and support annual budgeting
- Collaborate with department leaders to build and track operating and capital budgets
- Oversee daily accounting operations including billing, collections, general ledger entries, and reconciliations
- Coordinate audit preparation and maintain required documentation
- Provide financial analysis and insights to managers and directors
- Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of healthcare accounting experience
- Matrix Care software experience (strong preference for candidates who have used it extensively)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Supervisory and leadership experience preferred
