Job Description:
Our Math Department is seeking a teacher who exhibits a commitment to creating a developmentally appropriate, rigorous learning experience for students of all levels of mathematics. Our High School Mathematics curriculum is a college preparatory program with classes offered at grade level, honors level, and Advanced Placement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach a full course load; 5 classes and proctoring
- Participate in co-curricular, service, and retreat opportunities with students
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Other duties as assigned
- A bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, engineering, or education and three years of successful teaching at the middle or upper school level.
- Experience teaching all levels of math and a pedagogical practice that encourages critical and reflective thinking.
