The TU Center for STEM Excellence is hiring an Education & Outreach Coordinator to deliver hands‑on STEM field trips (grades 3–12) at the Sci Tech Student Learning Lab and support our programs.

• Teach engaging STEM lessons for K–12 students.
• Build communication, leadership, and lab skills (PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.).
• Learn program and event logistics.
• Gain administrative and grant project experience.
• Strengthen your résumé with professional skills for education, nonprofits, and STEM fields.

• Lead and/or co‑lead classes in the Sci Tech Student Learning Lab for grades 3–12.
• Support lab operations by preparing equipment and materials for Sci Tech classes and Loaner Lab kits.
• Provide logistics & admin support for educational programs.

  the position is located at the TU Center for STEM Excellence in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore (701
  
  E. Pratt St., 21202) and not on TU’s main campus.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• One year of experience working with K‑12 students.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, One Drive, Google tools, Zoom, and similar platforms.
• Flexibility, patience, and a growth mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Background in a STEM/Computer Science/Education field.
• Prior teaching/instructional experience in formal or informal STEM education.

Hourly rate of $22/hr contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage.
