Operations Manager

Primary responsibilities:
- Supervise Technicians in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Work in a warehouse environment involving prep and de-prep for rentals and productions
- Analyze company schedule to ensure adequate resources are available for assigned tasks
- Enforce established security and safety programs
- Ensure compliance with shop paperwork protocols
- Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, shipping and receiving, vehicle maintenance, and shop cleanliness and organization
- Be familiar with all tools, machinery, and facilities to instruct and supervise their proper and safe use
- Develop systems and procedures to improve warehouse efficiency, quality, and safety
- Participate in employee management, including assessing morale, training, customer relations, workmanship, policy compliance, safety, and teamwork
- Assist in hiring, training, reviewing, and coaching warehouse employees
Additional required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Mandatory 15+ years of experience in elements of entertainment industry production, including:
- Staging systems (Stageline, Staging Dimensions, Scaffold)
- Power distribution
- Rigging systems (motor operation and maintenance)
- Event structures (vtowers, self-climbing truss, scaffold towers, risers, staging)
- Audio
- Lighting
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
- Good people skills, patience, and courteousness under pressure
- Knowledge of audio, lighting, staging, power, and rigging equipment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic Windows and Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with R2 preferred
- Willingness to relocate to the Baltimore metro area
- High school diploma or equivalent required
