Senior Staff Accountant

• Support or lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate general ledger activity, proper classification of complex transactions, and full oversight of fixed assets and key balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare clean, audit‑ready schedules and documentation to support external audits and tax filings.
• Assist in or manage the tracking and capitalization of major capital projects, ensuring timely and accurate recording of investment activity.
• Contribute to or drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis that highlights performance trends and informs leadership decisions.
• Improve and refine accounting processes, helping build scalable, efficient workflows that stand up to scrutiny and support a growing business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience for Staff or 3+ years with deeper ownership for Senior
• Deep theoretical and practical understanding of accounting methodologies (GAAP and/or tax basis)
• Proficiency with integrated accounting platforms; advanced Excel proficiency
• Clear communicator with initiative, curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving problems before they surface
