Description

Are you ready to be part of a high-performance team operating at the cutting edge of motor sport engineering? We are looking for a NDT Technician to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality NDT inspections (Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, MPI, Dye Penetrant, Visual) for all AMF1 car components.
  • Engage actively in team culture, driving collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Travel as required to trackside locations and testing sessions.
  • Maintain compliance with EN4179/PCN Level 2 standards or higher.
  • Communicate findings clearly and confidently to engineering teams.
  • Work professionally and autonomously under time-critical conditions.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and precision in every task.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179/PCN) across key techniques.
  • Strong expertise in Ultrasonic A-Scan (Phased Array, would be beneficial), Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant & Visual Inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail, with strict adherence to inspection specifications and reporting standards.
  • Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of X-Ray and CT Scan techniques is beneficial.
  • Excellent communicator with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.

  • Experience in Formula One, high-level motor sport, or aerospace highly desirable.
