We are looking for a Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our growing and dynamic IT Team at our campus here in Silverstone! Within this role, you will work with cross functional teams to help evolve on-prem/cloud technical estate ensuring it meets the requirements of the business as well as collaborating with operational colleagues, creating strategic roadmaps addressing any weaknesses & security vulnerabilities to ensure our infrastructure.

• Identify infrastructure vulnerabilities and provide clear, actionable remediation strategies.
• Develop and maintain standards that enable compatibility, consistency, and long-term scalability.
• Collaborate with technology vendors to shape forward-looking roadmaps and technical strategies.
• Enhance and evolve our High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure to comply with FIA regulations.
• Drive improvements in infrastructure resiliency, security, and stability.
• Architect on-prem and cloud solutions across hosting, networking, security, backup, VMware, data centre hardware, monitoring, server platforms, storage, AD, databases, and containerisation.
• Ensure infrastructure meets non-functional requirements-including availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Own the list of infrastructure concerns, architectural decisions, and technical risks.
• Produce and maintain high-quality architecture documentation and artefacts.
• Provide technical guidance and input throughout RFI/RFP processes.
• Ensure all designs follow secure-by-design principles and align with organisational security standards.
• Validate adherence to IAM, encryption, segmentation, and hardening practices.
• Collaborate with security SMEs on assessments and elevate complex issues where necessary.
• Stay current with evolving cloud security best practices across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Maintain ownership of the solution from design through implementation and transition into BAU.

• Strong knowledge of Multi Cloud e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP
• Proven experience designing architectures in hybrid environments (Cloud + On-Prem).
• Familiarity with TOGAF and Archi Mate frameworks.
• Understanding of security architecture and secure-by-design principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of IaC technologies such as Terraform and BICEP.
• Acquired technical relevant certifications e.g. ISC2
• Broad technical exposure across servers, networks, routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, VMware, backup, storage (SAN/NAS), Windows/Linux, AD, databases, and containerisation.
• Knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, or related compliance frameworks (desirable).
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
• Able to perform confidently under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines.
