We have an opportunity for a Production Delivery Lead to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role you will ensure the successful execution and completion of parts and assemblies to the required delivery dates, guaranteeing on‑time delivery of projects. You will be responsible for ensuring build and development targets are met, maintaining stock, coordinating manufacturing schedules, managing engineering changes, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Process design releases into manufacturing to ensure build and development targets are achieved.
- Maintain stock as necessary, schedule re‑orders of existing parts and coordinate manufacturing schedules to meet all targets.
- Be responsible for the on‑time delivery of all parts within the designated engineering sections.
- Handle engineering changes through operations and manage the Bill of Materials for the responsible engineering section.
- Look after the Aero.rh and Test & Validation areas of the team.
- Be proactive when communicating with relevant stakeholders to report project progress and achieve delivery of all components and projects.
- Report any deviations from the project plan to stakeholders in a timely manner to mitigate risk and manage expectations.
- Develop a thorough working knowledge of the company’s ERP system and contribute to its ongoing development.
- Sound understanding of basic engineering and a good understanding of machining and composite manufacture processes.
- Thorough understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proven strong negotiation skills and previous ERP experience.
- Ability to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Previous experience of MS applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
- Flexibility to work within a team in a high‑pressure, rapidly changing environment.
