Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic
The key focus of our Build Technicians is the assembly and installation of components throughout the restoration, electrification and rebuild of our classic cars. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanics, as well as enthusiasm for learning, persistence, high levels of craftmanship and pride in a job well done.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, enthusiastic and detail-oriented problem-solver who has a desire to contribute to the highest quality restoration and electrification of automotive masterpieces.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be assembling and installing mechanical, electrical, and body components on classic vehicles using technical drawings.
You will need to plan your work effectively, and liaise with support departments when assistance is required.
You will need to proactively solve problems, troubleshoot and fix assembly issues.
Working closely with engineers and other technicians, you will imbed improvements into our production processes.
You will need to create and maintain accurate records of the work you’ve performed, including parts used and time spent.
You must adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
You need to be able maintain a clean and organized workspace.
You will be expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our restoration processes and quality standards.
Desired Experience & QualificationsProven experience as a Build Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of automotive mechanics.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to plan and work independently, and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Formal automotive training or apprenticeship is preferred.
Basic computer literacy.
Bonus PointsA passion for, and experience of, classic car restoration.
Experience of working on high value products with exceptional levels of quality.
Metal fabrication.
Electrical experience (LV or HV).
Lean or 5S experience
