HGV Technician

Location: Marchwood

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, a reputable company based in the Southampton area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £49,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 with working hours of Monday to Friday (08:00:17:00).

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary up to £49,000 depending on experience and skill set
OTE (On-Target Earnings) of approximately £50,000
Paid overtime opportunities and occasional Saturday work at half pay
Mon - Fri 08:00 - 17:00 - Coffee breaks & Paid Lunch Break at 13:00 (Lunch can range between 30 mins - 60 mins) (Team regularly cook lunch together, and sit down and have a hot meal)

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

Previous working experience within the role
Ideally fully qualified, but newly qualified Technicians with the right attitude will also be considered.
Excellent mechanical knowledge
A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
