Key Responsibilities
Providing personalised support to pupils with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties and autism
Supporting pupils with communication needs, sensory processing differences, and physical or medical needs (full training provided)
Assisting with structured learning activities, therapeutic programmes, and differentiated curriculum tasks
Promoting emotional wellbeing, safety, and positive engagement throughout the school day
Supporting pupils with personal care, mobility, and independence where required
Using calm, consistent, and nurturing approaches to build trust and reduce barriers to learning
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff across both school sites

Pay Rate:
From £14 per hour Requirements
To be considered, you must:
Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
Provide professional references covering the last 24 months
Hold a Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, education, health & social care, or have relevant SEND experience
