Job Description
Join United Supply, a Rheem company. We provide top-tier HVAC solutions to contractors, multifamily industries, and commercial properties across the Northeast. We are looking for an HVAC Counter/Inside Salesperson to work at our Totowa, NJ branch. The role includes prospecting for new accounts, expanding existing accounts, and providing excellent customer support.
Job TypeFull-time, Monday to Friday
Pay$22.00 - $29.00 per hour. Final offer depends on location, experience, market guidance, and internal equity.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Outside Sales associates to meet customer needs.
- Update customer orders, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse, and answer sales calls for general inquiries.
- Take customer sales orders, provide timely quotations, and ensure accurate order processing.
- Order items as necessary to fulfill customer orders.
- Make outbound calls to customers eligible for new promotions and follow up on potential sales.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of shelves.
- Gain knowledge of the products we sell to customers.
- Participate actively in in‑house training or vendor‑offered events.
- Provide feedback on information pertinent to our business.
- Excellent customer service, effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiation skills.
- Technical expertise and knowledge of company products.
- Problem‑solving and analytical ability.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and able to multitask.
- Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people.
- Able to work independently with some direction.
- Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales.
- High school diploma or GED required.
