Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle and new product builds.
  • Determine material requirements from production schedules, engineering BOMs.
  • Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, stock room and engineering to ensure timely availability.
  • Review and track shortages and run shortage meetings with the procurement and sub assembly team.
  • Escalate critical part shortages to management that will jeopardize the ship schedule.
  • Plan and release subassembly work orders for the tool.
  • Prioritize and track sub-assemblies, ensuring they are completed and available on the shelf before tool kitting begins.
  • Maintain the work order bill of materials, ensuring it supports efficient material flow and aligns with the assembly process.
  • Collaborate with engineering for new product work order releases and material planning.
  • Ensure engineering change orders are approved and work orders are updated accordingly.
  • Review backorders related to the tool line.
  • Create reservation requests for internal department part requests.
  • Create delivery documents and close work order variances, coordinating with the stock room.
  • Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate resources as required to meet build plan commitments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree + 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment OR
  • AS + 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Excel, Data analysis, ERP system; preferable SAP.
  • Detail oriented, process driven, highly collaborative, committed to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast‑paced technical manufacturing environment.
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience;
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years

Base Pay Range: $81,500.00 – $ Annually
