Position: Medical Office Associate I- Full Time, Days, AMG Primary Care, Totowa NJ

Responsible for general receptionist, registration, and billing duties in a physician office setting.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Manages multi-line phones
  • Greets patients, checks patients in/out
  • Schedules/confirms appointments
  • Enters demographics & patient information
  • Verifies insurance coverage, complete forms, collect co-pays
  • Balances cash
  • Maintains schedule in EMR system, and processes pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases
  • Other related duties as assigned
