Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer
Location: Staverton, Trowbridge
Initial Location: Manchester (3 6 months accommodation provided)
Length of Contract: 2 years
Rate: £500 - £550 per day (Outside IR35)
Start: End of January (possibility to start earlier)
Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Project Engineer with a background in FMCG manufacturing? This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects across FMCG.
The role will initially be based in the Manchester to learn systems, standards, and ways of working before moving onto a long-term project in Staverton, where you ll be site-based delivering electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver electrical projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage labour, contractors, materials, and suppliers
- Lead and support teams of electricians on site
- Act as the main point of contact for clients
- Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards
- Control project costs and performance
Requirements:
- Experienced Electrical Engineer
- Electrical Qualifcation
- 17th or 18th Edition qualified
- 10+ years electrical and project experience within FMCG manufacturing
- Strong background in food
- Proven experience leading electrical teams and managing projects
- Sound commercial awareness with experience managing budgets
- Site supervisory card, ECS, NEBOSH, SSSTS, etc.
