Quality Technician

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure every part we produce meets the highest aerospace standards. In this role, you'll work closely with our Quality, Production, and Engineering teams, playing a hands‑on role in inspections, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement. • Perform first article, in‑process, incoming, and final inspections on products.
• Verify dimensions, workmanship, labeling, and compliance with blueprints and specifications.
• Identify and report non‑conformances through DMRs, RMAs, and ECRs.
• Maintain accurate documentation (FAI reports, job travelers, Epicor/Docuware entries).
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train newer staff, assist production teams, and contribute to process improvements.
• Uphold compliance, safety, and traceability standards across all operations.

Education: High School Diploma (required);
Technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: 1‑3 years in quality inspection/assurance or related manufacturing role (aerospace experience a plus).

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with measuring tools and data entry systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills (bilingual English/Spanish a plus)
• Detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods

• Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent
• Familiarity with FAI, DMR, and ECR processes
• Training in Lean Manufacturing, SPC, or quality tools
