Medical Assistant (MA, CNA) - Colleague Support Team

Location: Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115)

Shift: Mon-Fri

Work where every moment matters. Float across the region to provide coverage in Primary and Specialty Care settings, gaining diverse experience and supporting high-quality patient care.

Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education.

• Direct patient care under provider direction: vitals, allergy/medical reconciliation, screenings, patient history, health maintenance, advance directives and virtual health.
• Indirect patient care: scheduling, check‑in/out, referrals, chart prep, prior authorizations.
• Administrative duties and front desk coverage as needed.
• Float to other offices as needed.

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 months of hire.
• All required credentials maintained throughout employment.

• At least one year of direct patient care experience (acute or ambulatory) may be considered in lieu of education.
• Relevant experience or MA externship preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
