Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, providing exceptional care to our residents. As a member of our 7-3 shift, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' physical, are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
- Provide direct patient care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, managing medical equipment, and reporting changes in residents' conditions
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
- Participate in training and educational programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the State of Connecticut
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 0 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting (new graduates welcome to apply!)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
