Billing Clerk

Description

Our client in Torrington, CT is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Clerk for a contract role. This position offers the opportunity to play a key part in the client's accounting operations and is ideal for candidates who excel in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Accurately prepare, review, and process invoices

+ Resolve billing discrepancies and address invoice-related questions

+ Maintain organized billing records and documentation

+ Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding billing inquiries

+ Support month-end closing processes related to billing

+ Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures

Requirements

+ Prior experience in billing, accounting, or related clerical roles

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

+ High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

+ Effective verbal and written communication abilities

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
