The Air Export Gateway Agent is responsible for the timely, cost‑effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Export Gateway department as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. The position handles processing of MAWB consolidations, sets trade‑lanes encompassing all aspects of the ATA process, and requires operational experience in the airfreight industry.

• Provide excellent customer service and ongoing commitment to quality and data integrity
• Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations
• Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region
• Arrange bookings with carriers; optimise cargo consolidations
• Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport; maintain constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during consolidation
• Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities
• Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers
• Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirements
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product and company goals
• Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of reporting tools
• Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
• Support pricing team on rate quotes
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proficient computer skills (solid data entry with high accuracy, email, internet, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of export procedures/documentation is a plus
• Good knowledge of international geography including countries, major cities
