OverviewThe Driver II will operate commercial bobtail and box truck vehicles to pick‑up and deliver parcels. AIT/ Spur Drivers are responsible for safely and accurately delivering and picking up cargo, keeping accurate driving logs (ELD) and inspecting and maintaining the company trucks.
ScheduleMonday – Friday, 4 pm – Midnight
Must HaveUnrestricted CDL (Class B for trucks over 26,001 lbs). Trucks are manual.
Responsibilities- Drive truck to and from specified destinations safely and follow all state, local laws, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain driver hours of service using electronic logs and ensure rest periods according to state and federal regulations.
- Inspect and maintain the company trucks, including fueling, cleaning, washing windows, and performing full inspections before and after trips.
- Handle general fleet maintenance and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Prepare receipt for load picked up or bill of lading.
- Provide timely communication with supervisor/manager regarding the status of daily route.
- Ensure timeliness of client delivery by proactively anticipating any delivery challenges.
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies and ensure all freight paperwork is signed.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and secure cargo with proper equipment during transit.
- May load and unload truck when not driving.
- May operate a forklift or pallet jack when not driving.
- Portions of the route may be Short Haul or Long Haul.
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.
- 3+ years required.
- Reading and writing English; basic geography and knowledge of airport codes (Medium proficiency).
- Detail oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment (Medium proficiency).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills (Medium proficiency).
- Participates in safety policies, activities, and implementations (Medium proficiency).
- Maintain a current Medical Card (High proficiency).
- Have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) (High proficiency).
- Must be a TSA‑certified truck driver and obtain a STA number upon employment (High proficiency).
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). exam and road test (High proficiency).
- No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage within three years (High proficiency).
- No conviction for driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs within the last seven years (High proficiency).
- No positive drug or alcohol results in the last 7 years reported to the Clearinghouse (High proficiency).
- General computer skills (Medium proficiency).
- Valid Class B driver’s license for vehicles over 26,001 lbs; driver licence must be valid in the state of operation.
- No more than three moving violations in the past 36 months (or two in the last 12 months).

Wage range: $28.50 – $40.30 per hour, depending on geography and experience.
Potential performance bonuses (dependent on position).
