Senior .Net Developer

Son Soft is an IT Staffing and consulting firm and duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. We are growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.

Responsibilities

• Codes and performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
• Codes, tests, and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing software
• Writes programs according to specifications from higher level staff or business analysts
• Develop technical documentation
• Resolves in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components
• Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problems
• Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniques
• Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback
• Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs

Daily Tasks Performed

• Design and Development
• Unit and Integration testing of the modules developed.

Musts

Five (5) or more years of Web application development experience using Microsoft VB .Net, C# & SQL Server.

Hands on job experience on the following are required:

• Object oriented design and programming. (Understand and have used design patterns)
• Experience with XML and XSLT
• Excellent code troubleshooting and testing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing Web Forms, MVP, MVC, MVVM, SPA based web applications
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Business Experience

• BA/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience

• IBM MQ experience
• Developing Client side applications (Desktop, Console, Windows Services)
• IBM Rational Clear Case Microsoft Source Safe or TFS
• Migration from Classic ASP & .Net 1.1 applications to .Net 3.5/.Net 4.0,/.Net 4.5
• Microsoft Office and Visio Experience in Open Source Web Technologies
• Experience in Cloud Platform
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Entity Framework
