You will gain valuable industry knowledge and experience around the entire sales process, including marketing, pre‑sales, procurement, RFP/RFQs, pipeline generation & fulfillment. You will be working hand in hand with members of the sales team creating and implementing strategy to meet our customers business needs. This position provides opportunities for daily client interaction.

- Acquire working knowledge of client profiles and requirements
- Acquire working knowledge of Vector
USA’s Order Management process - Achieve a level of independence to work non‑complex orders through the entire process with minimal errors or recognize issues that require escalation
- Ability to work collaboratively to learn necessary skills to complete the team’s daily workload, provide backup, and prepare communications to clients and Account Executives
- Learn the major product lines of Vector
USA and how that technology performs for customers - Learn to ask the right questions to determine the best methods for taking action
- How to provide amazing support to individuals, clients and the organization
- Acquire ability to quote and book orders from Bill of Materials (BOM)
- How to respond to detailed RFPs & RFQs
- Mastering the art of diplomacy to satisfy internal and external customers

- Collaborate with the Account Executives and the Marketing team to help coordinate & drive prospects to company events.
- Maintain & Input data in Hub Spot CRM for AE Open / Closed Opportunities
- Provide pertinent notes within company databases, regarding client needs, budgets, and timelines.
- Generate Quick Quotes for material only proposals or any other quotes requested
- File Maker data entry for duplication of VRNs
- Open Hub Spot tickets for pre‑sales & estimation
- Process Work Orders for Operations sales support and customer jobs
- Follow up with Operations Department for Job Scheduling Status
- Process customer Support Renewal from Manufacturers – licensing, warranty, smartnet, aruba care
- Deal Registration Support
- Download RFPs from Customer websites
- Compile reports, spreadsheets or other documents as needed
- Assists in compiling deliverables for customer presentations & RFP responses
- When requested attends customer calls
- Deliver (electronically or in person) or coordinate delivery with warehouse personnel for proposals or literature as needed
- Send out calendar invites to meetings, trainings and events
- Assist with maintaining communications with clients
- Attend workshops, training, Vector
USA hosted, and 3rd party events, as directed by management. - Perform the day‑to‑day management functions required to provide our customers with accurate and timely delivery of hardware, software and services
- Provide administrative support primarily to your sales pod but at times to any member of the Sales team
- Reviewing RFPs / RFQs / IFBs and spearheading the team to develop a complete, accurate & timely response to the client.
- Completing questionnaires and pre‑qualification documents as part of the bid response process.
- Updating and compiling boiler‑plate information to be used in bid responses.
- Creating and editing customer facing proposals
- Follow up with customers when status changes occur (i.e. delays or product discontinuation)
- Provide post‑sale support including follow up on return merchandise authorizations, ensuring documentation was received, accounts receivable issues and other customer service satisfaction issues
- Effectively use Vector
USA internal contact and quoting system in Hub Spot & File Maker. - As business and operational demands dictate, additional duties may be assigned and expected to be performed.
