Position SummaryThe Inside Sales Representative participates in a sales development program designed to prepare entry-level candidates for a career in sports sales. The role involves detailed training focused on developing skills to become industry sales leaders. Responsibilities include generating revenue by selling season tickets, partial plans, and group tickets for LA Galaxy MLS. Core functions involve proactive outbound calls, inbound responses, events, upselling, cross-selling, and referrals.
EssentialFunctions
- Generate revenue through various sales methods including cold calls, appointments, tours, prospecting, and networking.
- Make a high volume of new business calls daily; proactively prospect and network.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all customer communications; manage accounts to meet sales goals.
- Attend home games to provide customer service and assist Account Executives with season ticket holders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience
- Sports sales experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn business systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and discipline
- Organizational and time management skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills; detail-oriented
- Team-oriented, reliable, self-motivated
- Ability to multitask under stress
- Familiarity with professional sports and sales/customer service principles; sports industry knowledge a plus
Pay Scale: $18.00 + Commission
