- Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor business, backroom operations, product safety and sanitation standards, inventory management, and equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitization; prepares (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to standards; cuts boneless meat products; and maintains product quality standards.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, maintaining the work area according to company policies and procedures; guarantees quality and date‑control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibits energy, commitment, and passion.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implements action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies these in executing business processes.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change.
