• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience for customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and that all team members follow them.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment.

• At least 18 years of age, 1–3 years of retail management experience. Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets preferred.
• Dependable and reliable, able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; walking up to 3 miles per 8‑hour shift is expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to give and receive direction in a team environment.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and a customer‑first mindset.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate, and maintain staff, with knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Strong focus on detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent organization and planning skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Physically able to lift vertical loads up to 60 lbs., transfer boxes up to 50 lbs. within specified distances for up to 25 hours; repetitive squatting/kneeling/bending expected.

$18.30 – $25.60 per hour. Pay is based on applicable experience and qualifications.
