Licensed Team Lead – Torrance, CA – Lens Crafters

Join us as a Licensed Team Lead in our Torrance store. We’re looking for a customer‑focused leader who can deliver exceptional service and manage key optical and lab processes.

The Licensed Team Lead creates exceptional value for customers and patients by delivering outstanding customer service, managing key optical and lab processes, and ensuring store success.

• Ensure the team delivers unsurpassed customer service.
• Execute tasks accurately with strong product knowledge.
• Assist customers with lens selections and recommendations.
• Serve as alternate store key holder.
• For optician license holders: provide lens expertise, adjust and repair eyewear, dispense eyewear, perform digital measurements.
• For lab work (if applicable): custom‑fit glasses, place prescriptions, maintain quality standards, maintain a safe work environment, operate and clean lab tools.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current and valid state Opticianry license.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Interpersonal, math, and sales abilities.
• Proficiency with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and measurement experience.

• State licensure or ABO certification in non‑licensed states.
• Final Eyewear Inspector Certification.
• Lens Crafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program certification.
• Experience with optical machinery/instruments.
• Customer service experience.
• Accu Fit Digital Measurement System certification.
• Knowledge of store merchandise and lens options.

US $25.69 – 38.27 per hour.
