Retail Assistant Store Manager

This role supports the Management Team in all areas of operations management and team leadership to drive daily store performance, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to store profitability.

Starting rate: $22.83 per hour
Hourly range: $22.83–$24.22

• Team Leadership:
  Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales management goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Visual Merchandising:
  Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers  high standards for style and innovation.
• Inventory Management:
  Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
• Operations Management:
  Oversee store systems including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and other operational processes; occasionally lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Sales Management:
  Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies, setting expectations, and exceeding sales goals.
• Problem-Solving:
  Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.

• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and operations
• Experience in sales management, delivering results, and meeting targets
• Ability to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Exceptional team leadership and communication skills to foster collaboration and success
• Acts with confidentiality and urgency

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience is preferred but not required
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application
